As you may recall, late in 2022 we made significant changes to our Traffic Management Plan to improve access to our site. At the time we determined that it was necessary to close the gate to the footbridge on Pennant Hills Road. We have since undertaken some work on our internal Link Road and added an additional pedestrian crossing to provide access to the footbridge gate. As such, we will reopen this gate to enable pedestrian access to the footbridge from Monday 1 May 2023. The gate will be open before and after school and locked for safety reasons during the school day. We ask parents who utilise the Link Road PUDO to be mindful of this additional pedestrian crossing and to adhere to the 10km speed limit at all times.
Additional information about our Traffic Management Plan can be accessed here.
We thank you for your ongoing support of this plan and your commitment to ensuring the safety of our community.

Council’s aim is to educate our school community to encourage active travel, safe driving and parking to keep everybody safe and healthy.
Council teams work together where possible and partner with NSW Police, Transport for NSW and schools to solve issues within school zones.
Addressing school zone traffic issues is more successful when a school and Council forms a partnership and collaborates. This allows both organisations to work together to achieve an effective outcome for everyone.

In 2020, the NSW Government implemented benchmarks for students to meet minimum standards in literacy and numeracy to receive the HSC. This is to ensure that all students graduate school with the necessary skills needed for everyday life, work and further study. Testing commences for students from Year 10 and students are required to undertake 3 online Minimum Standard Tests, in Numeracy, Reading and Writing.
The Year 10 Minimum Standard tests will take place in the morning of Week 4, Friday 19 May. (catch-up tests scheduled Thursday, 1 June). Please assist us in ensuring that your daughter’s laptop is fully charged the night prior.
In preparation for the Minimum Standard Testing, a Locked Down browser is being installed onto students’ laptops and practice tests will be completed during class time. We wish to reassure you that if your daughter is not successful at meeting the Minimum Standard benchmark after the first tests, she will be fully supported and will continue to be offered to re-sit the tests until she qualifies, prior to the end of Year 12.
Below, please find links providing additional key information from NESA which may be of interest to you. If you have any further information, please email the Learning Office.
